BEAUTIFUL TOMORROW

We make a small number of heavyweight cotton garments, in the same fabrics, on the same blocks, for as long as they hold up.

THE STANDARD

Three fabrics carry the line: 280gsm compact-spun jersey, 380gsm loopback fleece, and 450gsm brushed-back fleece. All of it is knit, cut and sewn in northern Portugal, near Guimarães. Every piece is drawn on one of two blocks — a straight body with a dropped shoulder, and a straight leg with a light taper — and garment-washed after assembly so the size you buy is the size you keep.

THE NAME

The name came from a school assembly hall in East Dallas, where the weekly notices ended with the line "Your tomorrow will be beautiful," read flatly off a laminated card. Assembly is also a sewing term: the fixed order in which panels are joined. We took both meanings. The line itself appears once on this site, in the footer, and is printed on nothing.

WHAT'S NEXT

Autumn '26 adds outerwear — a coach jacket in a cotton-nylon shell — and nothing else. After that, an overshirt and a heavier trouser are in fitting for spring. The Standard line will not change. When a style is retired it moves to Archive and stays there.
